This product has won the silver at first INTERNATIONAL MONDIAL RABELAIS du SAUCISSON in June 2018 (The first Saucisson world-cup).

Most French prefer more dried saucisson since it gains more flavours. Formed from the finest free-range pork, our rich, flavorful French Saucisson (the classic large dry pork sausage) has an excellent balance of seasoning and flavour. Fine pork grind is blended with salt, black peppercorn, wine, then dry-cured until the flavour fully develops.

It is perfect to slice and eat cold with a rustic baguette paired with a hearty slice of cheese, or added to a charcuterie or antipasto platter. Tote some along on your picnic, or slice one up as a fancy snack.

Ingredients list: Pork and pork fat (92%), salt (4%), black peppercorn and black pepper (2%), sodium nitrite (250) (≤1%), starter culture (≤1%)Gluten-free.

Casing: Natural sheep casing, completely edible

Country of origin: 100% Australia made

Storage: Leave it in the paper bag, and refrigerate ≤5°C

Availability: Usually ships within 1 business days.

Mouthwateringly good!

This is just like the saucisson you get at your local markets in the south-west of France, if not better. The aging process and simple ingredients give an authentic flavour and texture that is best savoured in wafer-thin slices. Goes well solo with a Belgian trappiste beer or alternatively with a light red wine like a Beaujolais or a Pinot Noir, accompanied by a ripe and room temperature Brie on thin slices of baguette. Too good to pass up!

Do yourself a flavour and taste these amazing meats.

I first tasted the meats from Saucisson Australia at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2023. We now order online regularly. From the first taste we were hooked. I have never tasted something so delicious and natural tasting before. when I eat any other salami they just don’t compare.
